Chapter Twenty-One

Janet Turner frequently found herself lost in the memories of her late husband, Will, who had haunted her since his death and left her no respite from his absence. Time had not helped the memories fade, but the solace of knowing that Will’s spirit lived on brought some comfort to Janet.

Her husband had been a deeply passionate man, and their marriage had always been free of any intimacy issues until the very end when cancer and the exhausting effects of chemotherapy drained his vitality. Deep in the throes of Morpheus, Janet turned onto her back and felt delightful warm kisses feathering the silky skin of her face, making her feel warm with desire as the kisses continued. Lips sipped from her mouth, and passions grew high as her lush lips parted in response to his ardor. Janet lay there as she was tongue kissed, sighing in contentment.

It had been so long since Janet felt a touch on her skin, soon she craved more, her arms opening to her phantom lover. He heeded her needs and settled between her legs, nudging at her small opening and gently pushing inside. Soon, his strokes grew in intensity, and Janet clung to him, urging him on. The straps of Janet’s silk and lace nightgown slid down her arms, keeping them pinned at her sides. Masculine hands caressed her full, silky breasts again and again. As she stretched and yawned, a gloriously happy feeling washed over her. Her mind wandered back to the delightful dream she had just experienced. She lightly pulled the silken nightgown straps over her shoulders, hoping Will would return soon for more nocturnal visits.
